Report: Analysis of Health Risks Posed by Contaminants found in Vapor

E-Cigarettes e-liquid health risks study

A report authored by Igor Burstyn, PhD of Drexel University provides analysis of the health risks of chemicals contained in electronic cigarette vapor.  The report notes that "there is no evidence that vaping produces inhalable exposures to contaminants of the aerosol that would warrant health concerns by the standards that are used to ensure safety of workplaces."  It further concludes that "Exposures of bystanders are likely to be orders of magnitude less, and thus pose no apparent concern."
