FDA to increase vaping regulations

Summary in black, my thoughts in purple!
The FDA released a statement that the reason they want to regulate the “vaping” industry is because they are concerned about the youth’s access to tobacco products. (There are so many ways to verify age now, especially online. Here at Vape On we take every measure possible to ensure that we are not selling to minors. There shouldn't be any reason companies are selling to minors. However, if people want to get ahold of something, they're going to find a way regardless which is unfortunate because this is the exact reason the FDA is cracking down as hard as they are.) Two years from August 8th, 2016 all vapor products must be in compliance with all laws and have all their products tested. Companies are rushing to put products out before then. The testing process could cost companies millions, which for the bigger chains wouldn’t be too difficult. (Sitting here reading all these stories makes me thankful for a company like this one where I can get my favorite flavors from Pearl at a competitive price and they’re not going anywhere! Click here to see what they have to offer! It’s all about quality, not quantity.) However, the little local mom and pop shops that we all love so much may have a harder time with the cost of testing, and that could ultimately cause them to shut down.
Shop owners fear that the regulations could cause business to slow down and even worse, cause customers to use other alternative tobacco products instead of vaping. Vaping has become so popular within the last two years and these regulations were a huge blow to the industry.
